OUR COMPANY AND HISTORY 

Country Bird Logistics (Pty) Ltd (CBL) was established in 2006 (then trading as Supreme Distributors).

In April 2010 CBL was awarded a Fisherman’s Deli franchise for Free State. Then traded as Supreme Fisherman’s Deli (Pty) Ltd.

We have 2 Distribution Centres (DC), namely Bloemfontein and Klerksdorp, with a combined 3,000 pallet storage space in frozen and chilled cold rooms.

The DC’s service Central South Africa, which include Free State, North West, Northern Cape and Lesotho.

Our team made up of 173 people and 45 vehicles that service over 1,700 customers or destinations weekly.

The business entity still has its two distinct parts, Distribution and Trading.

On the distribution side, we deliver approximately 17.5 million kg's annually of Supreme Poultry products to 120 Shoprite/Checkers/U-Save stores all over Central South Africa & Lesotho.

In 2015 we signed a contract to Distribute Dairymaid Ice-cream from Bloemfontein for Free State Province.

In 2020 we signed a contract with Vector Logistics to do distribution of frozen and chilled products for them to Lesotho.

On the Trading side, we also sell about 11 million kg's of Supreme Chicken annually.

We have another 55 suppliers. The Trading portion has a turnover of just under R400 million annually.

Our delivery points are varied and include retailers like PnP, Shoprite, Checkers, Spar, the General Wholesalers in our territory, KFC Lesotho, OK Foods, The Roots, Metro’s (Food Market), as well as Catering Companies like Fedics & Compass.
